Eternity Helps Launch The Provide Network
Jul 05, 2009 in Eternity
Eternity recently helped launch “The Provide Network” – an initiative to help meet the needs of the poor and oppressed here in the Jefferson City area. Born out of a series of meetings regarding Faith Based Initiatives – The Provide Network is an innovative approach that helps meet the needs of individuals and families in a personal and relational way that helps both those in need and those who are giving.
The Jefferson City News Tribune recently did a story on The Provide Network. You can view that story by clicking here.

Mar 09, 2009 in Blog
For every parent out there who has a desire to be a better mom or dad, you’ll want to be sure and check out the audio from a Biblical parenting conference that was recently held in Seattle, WA by Ted Tripp.
Tripp is the author of a phenomenal book that every parent should read entitled “Shepherding A Child’s Heart” and this conference will give all of us pheonomenal insight into how to guide and shepherd our children to see God’s glory.
You can find the MP3’s in our learning section at:

Right click on the links and select “Save Link As” or “Save Target As” to download them to your iPOD or computer. It’s five hours worth of great parenting insight!! Our kids need us to listen to this!

Eternity In The News
Dec 22, 2008 in Blog
The Jefferson City News Tribune was gracious enough to do a story on our ongoing partnership with East Elementary and some of the needs that we were blessed to meet there. This has been a great partnership and will be getting even better in the days ahead. A special thank you to Angie Hutschreider at the Tribune for the great article.

East Elementary Says “Thank You”
Nov 24, 2008 in Blog
Recently, Eternity decided to partner with East Elementary School in Jefferson City. East is just a couple blocks away from where we are currently meeting in the Stained Glass Theatre and we felt that this provided us a good place to start in showing Christ’s love to our city. We were able to meet East’s needs by providing over 70 pairs of gloves and mittens, 20+ pairs of sweatpants, a few hundred pencils, airbeds, blankets, and more. Their principal, Julie Martin, sent us a wonderful thank you note and we wanted to share it here. We look forward to many years of partnering with East and it’s been a very good beginning.

Eternity Has Begun
Sep 29, 2008 in Blog
Well…technically it began a long time ago, but we’re excited that Eternity (the church) had its first core group meeting last night at the Stained Glass Theatre in Jefferson City. Before moving on, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation and excitement that the Stained Glass Theatre has agreed to allow Eternity to call the theatre home. If you want to check out what our digs look like, you can check out a host of digital photos here.
For our first official gathering last night, we focused on “What Is The Gospel“..It was amazing to be with the people who have committed to Eternity. If you want to check out some photos from last night including what we came up with as a definition of the Gospel, you can see them here…God is doing something incredible and we would love for you to be a part of it as well.
Make sure to join us on Sunday night at 6:00 pm at the Stained Glass Theatre…this week we’ll look at what it means to have a Biblical understanding of conversion.
